Lactobacillus rhamnosus is a bacteria that exists naturally in the body, primarily in the intestines. It has been used as a probiotic, or "friendly bacteria" to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in the stomach and intestines. It has been used in alternative medicine as a likely effective aid in treating or preventing diarrhea caused by rotavirus in babies and children.

Resistenza agli acidi diLactobacillus rhamnosus PB{{0}}LR76 powder was carried out at either pH=2.0 and pH=3.0 for up to 4 hours. The microbial enumeration of Lactobacillus rhamnosus PB-LR76 should be performed no more frequently than at the initial(as control), 1 hour, 2 hour, and 4 hour time points. The Fig 1 illustrates that Lactobacillus rhamnosus PB-LR76 can survive at low pH conditions, which means this strain has good acid resistance.

TOLLERANZA AI SALI BILIARI

Bile salt resistance of Lactobacillus rhamnosus PB{{0}}LR76 powder was carried out at either 0.2 percent and 0.3 percent bile salt for up to 4 hours. The microbial enumeration of Lactobacillus rhamnosus PB-LR76 should be performed no more frequently than at the initial(as control), 1 hour, 2 hour, and 4 hour time points. The Fig 2 illustrates that Lactobacillus rhamnosus PB-LR76 can survive at high concentration of bile salt, which means this strain has good bile salt resistance.

STABILITÀ DI CONSERVAZIONE

Lactobacillus rhamnosus PB-LR76 powder were sealed in aluminum foil bag, maintained at -18 degree for 24 months for long-term stability test. The microbial enumeration of Lactobacillus rhamnosus PB-LR76 should be performed no more frequently than at the initial, 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24 month time points. According to Fig 3, the potency of Lactobacillus rhamnosus PB-LR76 powder was 3.6110¹¹CFU/g. Dopo un periodo di conservazione di 24 mesi, la potenza della polvere era 2,1810¹¹CFU/g. Significa che questo ceppo può rimanere stabile a lungo se conservato a bassa temperatura.
